Our Beginning Story
During the Christmas holidays of 2024, David Sung (Korean-Australian 
) after watching Netflix's world-renowned series Squid Game, he wanted to try the dalgonas, Korean's beloved street snack, as featured in the show. He soon found out that it is near impossible to buy dalgonas in Australia despite them being now widely known in the western culture. So, with the help of his family and friends, David founded Dalgona Candy to support local businesses and give Australians a chance to have a taste of the candies and have some Squid Game fun!
